Do all toll stations have a dedicated lane for HGV electronic toll device holders (classes 3 and 4)? There seem to be lots of T lanes which have size restrictions but not that many that don’t.
Unfortunately, we are not able to answer this question at the moment but we are checking with toll motorway operators. All toll stations should have a dedicated class 4 lane (marked with an orange hexagon), which is currently used for CAPLIS cards and electronic toll devices. The situation is more complicated for class 3 vehicles which can use either a dedicated electronic toll card lane with no size restrictions or a manual lane, depending on the network.
How should lorries which occasionally drive with a trailer, and therefore change from class 3 to class 4, be processed?
The lorry only needs one Passango e-tag. However, upon arrival at the toll station, the lorry must use a lane reserved to class 4 vehicles.
On days when the lorry does not have a trailer, it must use a lane for class 3 vehicles: a “t” lane with no size restrictions (the barrier therefore opens automatically) or a mixed lane (the driver must give his toll card to the toll operator who will check the card and enter the vehicle’s class).
What happens if a Passango e-tag is allocated to the wrong vehicle?
If the vehicle is checked on the road and found to have the wrong device, the driver can be fined.

Euro emission standards set the maximum emission limits for road vehicles. Emission standards for vehicles with a Maximum Permissible Laden Weight (MPLW) of over 3.5 tonnes (HGVs, buses and coaches)

What is the invoicing date for my Passango e-tags?
As indicated in the Standard Terms and Conditions, your invoicing date will be the anniversary date of your fuel card contract. Your Passango e-tag is valid for three years.
